PITTSBURGH, PA, February 17, 2010 - Comet Way Joins Microsoft's Windows Embedded Partner Program
Comet Way's WEPP membership is part of an ongoing effort to continually improve support for users, customers, and partners using Windows Embedded platforms.
Comet Way is the creator of the Neokernel Web Server, an embeddable, lightweight and secure web application server for Microsoft's .NET framework. The Neokernel Web Server can be embedded and distributed with other applications, or used as a standalone ASP.NET compatible web server. Application developers use it to host web applications and web services from within their .NET and Visual Basic applications.
Paul Cunningham, Comet Way's CTO, says "We joined the WEPP so we could enhance the Neokernel Web Server with embedded features and demonstrations. Our customers who are using Neokernel as a replacement for IIS in their windows embedded deployments will benefit from our participation in the WEPP program."
